In December, 227 single-family homes sold in Nanaimo, down fifteen per cent over November and up fifty-two per cent over the previous year.
-Nanaimo’s benchmark sits at $819,000, on par with both the previous year and last month.
-Campbell River’s benchmark price for single-family homes was $693,400, a five per cent increase over the previous year.
-Comox Valley’s benchmark price rose three per cent over last year’s price and sits at $834,500.
-Cowichan Valley reported a benchmark price of $762,800, on par with December 2023.
-The Parksville-Qualicum area is four per cent higher than last year with a benchmark price of $886,300
-Port Alberni’s benchmark increased to $511,000, which is on par with last year’s number.
-The North Island area is up over six per cent over last year with a benchmark price of $448,400.
